Prom

I started out my day by sleeping in which felt really nice. Stayed up late, had the house to myself...and it didn't matter. I got ready and headed to my moms. I knew she would feed me, and I knew my sister was planning on stopping in. About 2 o clock we eat lunch and at Spag's my mom starts yelling at me. I guess I don't appreciate living with her just because once in a long time my room happened to be messy. So she lays into me and it wasn't pretty. We get back home and I just say "I'm heading out". She responds with "okay". And I stare at her waiting for her to at least say, have fun tonight, or have a good prom. Whatever. Nothing. So I walk out the door fighting tears.

I drive to my dads house and it all hits me. Prom isn't something that happens every day. And considering all of the absolute shit I have put up with coming up to it, and planning it for my group...now my own mom doesn't even send me off with best wishes. Call me crazy, but that really hurts. (and to update you, she didn't call at all through the night, I havn't shown up at home yet since and its 4:30...and she still hasn't called. For all she knows I drank, drove, and am dead)

My sister helped me get ready and I borrowed her really fun aqua blue dress with red flowers on it. People came over at 6:30. We weren't going to the dance, but to diner then post prom. So we all dressed in fun spring atire instead of full out dresses. We went to Ukai and for some reason everyone from Williamston was there. It was crazy, but the food was awesome just like everything.

After dinner we had a few hours before Post Prom so we went bowling. I won the second game, and game was pretty close with second. It was fun and we have fun pictures from it.

After that it was still only like 11 so we went to my house and watched part of "Anchorman". Good movie, to many people fuck up the quotes trying to repeat it though. We showed up to Post Prom right about midnight, thinking thats an hour late, should be fine. Nope, no one was there. It was sort of boring the first hour, it got good about 1:30 when everyone showed up. And It was really fun until about 3:30-4:00 until pretty much everyone left. And they decieded to shut everything down at like 4:15, so we were stuck basically doing nothing for 45 minutes.

We used that time to plot. The entire time we had stared at the Star Wars cut out located in the office. We devised an awesome flawless plan and got into positions. I took Kelly and Chris to the car where we would go to the front of the building and pick up Casey. Justin looked out for her, while Casey slid into the office door that was unlocked, group the cut out and go out the front door. I got my keys from the people by the back and headed out. Justin came running up to us "she got it". I couldn't believe that is actually worked. I mean how obvious is it when someone walks out with a cut out person. So I start driving towards the front of the school but she is in the back parking lot RUNNING with this ginormous thing and I have to get out and help her fold it so it fits in the car. And we drive away, like nothing happened.

One of the funniest things ever. We all went to my house, and Mary met us there. We folded out the foutons and quickly put in the movie "Closer". Justin, Casey, Mary and Kelly were on one and Chris and I on the other. Justin, Casey and Mary were very quickly out and Kelly complained she had no room so she joined Chris and I. The movie ended at like 7 and we got a second wind. Instead of putting in another movie we talked. It was fun. At one point I think probally at 10 we fell asleep until the doorbell rang at 11. Then the dogs barked, then the phone started ringing then mine. God, every noise possible. Casey left and Chris was on his way out. So the night was pretty much wrapped up. It was an awesome time.

This morning after everyone left Ashley and I went to Applebee's. I, being very tired because I only slept a few hours here and there...ordered a "Lemon with ice water". I just looked at the waitress and started cracking up. My sister turns to her and goes "she is very sleepy". It was rediculous. My dumb moment for the day...

Keys To My Heart

I got this from Matt...

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to good manners and elegance.
In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.
You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.
You would be forced to break up with someone who was insecure and in constant need of reassurance.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.
Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.
You think of marriage as something that will confine you. You are afraid of marriage.
In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You're feeling self centered.

Random Drive

Tonight was interesting to say the least. I was plannin on just hanging out, not doing a whole lot and got extremly bored. I thought of who I could call. Several people crossed my mind but not allowed to hang out with some of them. So I called Kelly up, mind you its like 9:30. "Bored?"..."Umm, why?"..."I'm going to take a drive, and I'm coming to get you".

So I go pick her up and things are always better in groups so we call Mary. Mary lives on the other side of the same subdivision, so by the time she asks "where are you?"...We were already in her drive-way. So we kind of kidnapped Mary and headed out.

We drove to East Lansing. Found a hot guy in a yellow shirt, and ran over the curb...haha. Parked in the ramp and went to Schulars. That was fun but they closed at 11, this is where the fun turned. We walked down the street and had a few weird situations. A guy ran pass us, scary. Foreign people talking about us. And a lady yellow at Kelly, "you pajama pants are out of style". Who the hell yells that at someone? We also had four random senior guys wave at us and say hi as we passed Cold Stone.

We went home after all that and it was one of those rememborable summer nights with your friends...

Star Wars And Stuff

Friday was a very long day. Most people hear "long" and think that it was miserable. But that wasn't the case.

School dragged on really long. I don't know if it was just because it was Friday or if it was because I had a lot to look forward to, or maybe that it was our last full week of school until September. So school dragged, I sat in 4th hour which still feels like 5th bacause last year Faulky was my 5th hour teacher...god I miss that class. Any ways, so I was all pumped up for the night and just wanted to go home after school. But alas, I had to go to practise.

Practise is getting more and more...boring. I took money for the DVDs that I made with Kelly. We have so far 21 people buying them. We charged $3. It cost $1 to make them and each one sold we get $1 profit. So for spending like an hour making this thing, so far I'm alreayd getting $21. Kick ass. Easy money convinetly before prom, which I'm not going to. But I will go to dinner...Any who. So practise was stressfull because I was writing down peoples names and all that. Arg.

I got home and it took me 20 minutes to get there because of traffic. God, I hate the bridge. I got home and my dad and I headed out for Howell to watch Killian play tee-ball. It was so cute, because they never get out and they all do like cartwheels in the out feild because that position is so boring. And they only play an hours worth, no matter how much that is. After the game we went to dinner with Meghan to Tomato Brothers, good stuff there.

I went home and before I knew it I had to pick up Mary and Kelly. It was 9:30 and the night was only starting. I got them and shit, I was already tired. But we went back to my house and Ashley was home at this point, so the 5 of us (dad, Ashley, Mary, Kelly and I) headed out for NCG. We met Zach there who had a good spot in line, so the 3 of us jumped in with him. Ashley met Josiah there and Jared the fat kid. Haha...But the movie was awesome. Star Wars was what I had expected, I mean...you go in knowing what will happen, and get hyped up and yet its still cool. Mary fell asleep, hehe. I was close to it, the thing that kept me awake was the creepy guy in front of me and his hands all over the place. He had them all over the back of his chair, and one point even rubbed my leg. EWW!

The movie got over and we headed home. Got back at like 2:30 and talked for a a while until going to bed at probally 3:30. I woke up this morning to my cat meowing. For some reason thats sets me up for being cranky all day. But I actually hid it. We got up at like 10 and started just hanging out. Watched the Halloween show from VP then headed out for lunch.

Kelly and I took Mary out for lunch because her birthday was on Wednesday. We went to Chili's, and it was all yummy. We weren't as 'hyper' or whatever ya call it as when we go out at nights but it was still a lot of fun. We sat in the car a while because it was just a nice day, listening to music enjoying each others company. I won't be surprised if this is the last time we get to really hang out before school is over. Next weekend is Prom and that will be crazy. Then the weekend after that is Graduation. Then schools out. Oh, god I can not wait!!

I started and finished my cartoon notebook today. About 4 hours of work put together. I had a head ache all through it from the sharpie. I finished it at 10 so now I'm done for the day.

So far this weekend is great...

The O.C.

Every week since I believe December 16th Alise and Jenny have come over for The O.C. Ashley comes to when she can make it but because of school and classes she has difficulties. So this has been a tradition almost all of the season and for about 5 months now. And tonight is the last episode. Once a week for 5 months, and then nothing. Next week will suck.

We were all joking about it one day, and Jenny was like "I'm just going to cry all summer Thursdays from 8-9, theres nothing else to do". We talked about watching season 1 DVDs during the summer to fill the void, but it won't be the same. And next year they will be in two different colleges. So tonight all though OC isn't going off the air like other shows have this week, I feel as if it is the actual final one.

Another thing for me to miss.

5th Hour

I'm in 5th hour right now which I never really do anything in. This morning I got to school and Mary had forgotten her Track uniform. So since I'm so nice I drove her to her house to get it, and we skiped all of first hour becuase then we went out to breakfest. We had parfeits at McDonalds, and the fruit was frozen. But the yogurt part of it was yummy.

After coming back to school Sarah and Kelly both scolded us for not telling them about it, so next Tuesday we're going to all go. Technically its not skipping school because its almost as if we're just not showing up. Not like its lunch when people walk out, we just didn't come at all.

Any who, we were suppose to schedule today but I guess they are still having issues with choir or something so instead sophomores are going in front of us. But as Fulkenburg explained if something was full we would boot them out of the spot that was full. So I guess I'm okay with it, but I just want to get it over with.

Chris and I are going to work on our Video Production final after school today I think. We have to make a music video, should be interesting. Any ways, I need to return to looking like I'm working.

Schedule

Today I was faxing stuff for Lutzke during video, since I'm pretty much his bitch now that I was forced to quit from injury. Any ways, an office lady walks up and starts printing off copies of the master scheduale, so of course I snatched one and quickly walked away. I looked at it, and picked random classes to fill the blank holes I got and as long as they don't continue to change it I have my classes picked out.

Semester 1: Semester 2:
1st. Desktop Publishing 1st. Word Process
2nd. Video Production 2nd. Video Production
3rd. English 12 3rd. English 12
4th. Psychology 4th. Economics
5th. T.A. - Nolan 5th T.A. Nolan
6th. Theater Production 6th. Theater Production

Yup, not to bad. It just happens that what I am interested and what I'm goin into happen to come off as "blow off classes". Some one today tried to inform me that drama is a blow off. You can ask any one, well I guess it could be taken as a blow off. But if you are commited it becomes your life. Every day after school practises, set building, arg. Its a ton, but it has so much pay off. If you can't fit it in your scheduale I suggest every one help. The people are so fun, and its just awesome. Also people try to say video production is a blow off. You try making a show. Okay, one skit takes planning, filming (about an hour on average), editing (each minute worth is at least an hour, so lets say 5 hours) and thats just ONE skit. Times that by, oh lets say 5. So yea, some people stay at the school until 1 on Thursdays. So no, its not a blow off.

Any who, today was a good day. Nothing great happened, but nothing bad happened. Its a little cold outside, but I can live with it. I want it to storm...oh how I love storms.

Who am I?

Don't say it'll stay this way forever
I'm afloat in the ocean trying not to sink
I'm a crack in the asphalt you walk by on the street
I'm a falling star you'll never see
The lash in your eye the I in team
So Who am I?
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
I'm the lesson you'll never learn
The sickness that was never your concern
I'm the big suprise at the end of the night
The bridge in the gap
The corner of your mind
So Who am I?
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
(you dont know, you dont dont, you never know)
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
(you dont know, you dont dont, you never know)
I'm holding on
Yes I am
Careful what I wish for
I am the knot in your stomach
The phlegm in your throat
The message saying you're not home
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
(you dont know, you dont dont, you never know)
Don't say it'll stay this way forever
(you dont know, you dont dont, you never know)
I'm afloat in the ocean trying not to sink

Vented Catch Up

It seems like most people these days use Blogger, so I decided to make a blog in addition to my D*Land posted stuff.
Latly I've had a lot on my mind. Disspointed about one guy, upset with another guy, and just let down by the third. Everyone says guys are stupid and I'm sure I say it from time to time. But I don't thinks thats the case. I think guys just don't think before they act. Well, okay, thats not the case either. Maybe this is it...guys normally try to solve a problem but because they can not read girls very well and know what there thinking, they end up doing the worst possible move ever. Could that be it? Maybe.
Prom I don't even want to talk about.
"Fuck my ass...what else" Well this past week has been okay. Not all to eventfull. I can't run any more but I still go to practise every day and hang out. Some think thats crazy, but why go home when all my friends are at practise?! We had are last home meet on Tuesday, besides the invite that happened yesterday.
Thursday is normally OC night but Alise and Jenny were going to go to the play so I taped it. And I didn't really want to watch it with out them, and I knew Chris was going to the play so I called him up and we decided to go together. Chris and I don't hang out much any more, with out other people so I offered up going to dinner first. So we went to the mall and got our own thing and sat and talked for a while, before heading to the high school.
Princess Bride. A very awesome movie and an even better play. They put so much work into it and was just too good. I was jealous. Because I wasn't in it. I wanted to be...but lets not get started there. So that was awesome.
Friday I was tired all day, but I was looking forward to not going to practise in the rain. Jake and I had to do this interview for Speech class. God I'm glad that class is almost over. The only reason I show up is because its fun talking to Jake and Erica. Thats another situation where its like "if it wasn't for friends I wouldn't be there". Very similar to Track. Anyways, so we didn't know where this old lady lived so we got on map quest. Well I "don't know what map quest was smoking" but they sent us to Webberville. So we called the lady to tell her we were late and maybe get directions and turns out she lives right by the Middle School. Wow!
After that we got done at like, 3:30 which was a lot faster then I thought it would be. I firgured about an hour. Any who, we were going to go to dinner with Erica, so we called her up. And that'd be a no. She canceled, surprise surprise. We called up a few other people, who either didn't answer the phone or couldn't go. So we headed out alone. We went to Chili's which was yummy. Minus the fact I wanted to eat my left overs later and my mom did. ARG. Then we walked around the mall. Nothing in perticular, besides DDR. I miss that game. When I can start doing "physical activities" again I'm going to start playing at home. After all that I took Jake back home.
It was only like 6 or so at this point and everyone was in the play, so I just headed home. I knew my mom was having her party the next day (Saturday, yesterday). So I went home to help. We ended up going grocery shopping FOREVER. Then when we got home she wanted me to burn her some cds. So I did that and bascially went home, and went to bed.
Saturday I had to wake up early and go down to the track meet. I worked there until 1 ish which was retarded. After that Mary and I went and got Kelly and headed to my moms house. It was her birthday and her friends were over. She wanted "all day and all night of sex" meaning watching sex and the city. So they were drinking and it was pretty funny. I walk in the door and Cheri immidatly walks up to me "okay you can't drink...but try this!". It was hilarious.
Around 6 I took Mary and Kelly to rehearsal or whatever you call it. Again, jealous. I want to be in it! Any way, then I picked up the OC tape from last week becuase my sister wanted to watch it before the last one (4 days away). So we watched that and then I headed out to go watch the play again. I met Jake there and again...Erica was a no show. GOD. The play was funny this time because of some unfortunate mess ups. Like how the sword kept rolling back to Andrew, until finally Gideon knocked it into the pit and all four of them cracked up until the scene was over. After the play Jake went home and I went with Kelly to the cast party. It was fun, but short lived. I shake my fist at curfews. But we sat and talked to Sarah a while and Neil for a bit. Even Zach. And Mary bits here and there. Until we had to leave in time for midnight. God.
Today I've done nothing yet, I think I'm goin to lunch with my Aunt Debbie and Micheal. But Who knows. Speakin of that, I need to go shower.
